Scammer Spotter Campaign

 

Situation: Current members frequently received messages from accounts posing as representatives of our Trust and Safety or Support team, leading to confusion from users on Facebook and Instagram.

Action: In addition to using social listening techniques to proactively message members and report fraudulent accounts, I worked closely with Current’s social media manager and creative team on the Scammer Spotter campaign, a series of social posts that brought awareness of fraudulent accounts and instructed users on what to do if they were messaged by one.

Result: A double-digit reduction of inbound messages regarding fraudulent accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

A brand awareness campaign to educate Current members of fake accounts and imposters. This led to a decline in inbound messages about fake accounts from members.


Brand Love and Testimonials

 

Situation: We realized there was an opportunity to elevate the voices of Current members to drive audience sentiment across each social channel.

Action: Through collaboration with Current’s social media manager, we sourced positive messages from users across our active social channels for a Brand Love campaign, focused on highlighting members who loved the app.

Result: Increases in Instagram engagements and impressions.

Highlighting positive experiences from Current members across Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok, leading to month over month improvements to brand sentiment.
